This is where you can find the Children's CD album "Bible Songs" 10 fun songs based on the Bible, written, composed and performed by Brendan Vincent Owens. Songs included are "Genesis to Revelation" helping you to recite the names of the 66 Bible books in correct order, and "The Twelve Apostles" which as the name suggests helps you to remember their names (and the name of Judas' replacement - so 13 apostles really). Of course the following album, "Songs For Sharing" is also available here too. As well as this, there is other music and lyrics for children and adults. News items, Links MP3s, Midi Files are being uploaded whenever time permits also. Some songs can be heard on the left. Purchased MP3 Downloads and Albums are of CD quality.

Originally Brendan Vincent Owens made these songs to replace nonsensical
nursery rhymes for his children, offering instead something useful to remember
using simple tunes. In time, having heard these songs performed at
gatherings,
others wanted recordings so as to share them with their own children. The first
album, "Bible Songs" recorded in 1987 released under the Home
Records Label (Northern Ireland Based) was quickly followed by "Songs
For Sharing" (by popular demand). From humble beginnings these albums
came to be sought by many around the Globe as far as the US and Australia.
Although aimed primarily at children, many adults write back with thanks for
having been able to learn the name of the 66 Books of the Bible and the 12
apostles etc. Likewise parents appreciate having fun music based on the Bible
for their children. Quite apart from this, Brendan has written many other songs
in contemporary/independent folk style and performed in concert as
singer-songwriter performing his own material and as a guest on National TV and Radio.
