Q. Are you one of Jehovah's Witnesses?

A. Yes, I feel very privileged to have been given the opportunity to be a witness for the true God Jehovah - contacted in 1980, baptised in 1982 and moved to serve as a pioneer in Northern Ireland 1983 and here since then. Due to health problems I had to discontinue pioneering (except in spirit). For your information, Northern Ireland, while on the Island of Ireland, is still under British jurisdiction and therefore currency, letters and phone calls are to the United Kingdom. Q. When I typed in the name of your website no page was displayed, why?

A. Despite trying to find the most reliable internet web hosts (this is the company that allows my pages to be viewed on the web), sometimes their server is down or being repaired/upgraded. So far, it has only happened twice and was back up within a few hours. Q. Can I copy my CD/Tape/MP3 files for others?

A. No - please don't do that. - You wouldn't ask your window cleaner to do all your friends windows for nothing while he was cleaning yours would you? No, you would simply recommend his services to your friend or introduce them.

Many people rationalise about this - thinking there's some big company involved and no one gets hurt. Of course that's the wrong thinking to begin with, but even so - it is not a big company - it is only ME that loses because I do all the jobs normally done by many; writing lyrics, composing, recording, artwork, production, sales, dispatch, website maintenance etc. I think you'll agree the albums are very reasonably priced. I even *lose* money on postage to certain areas. As it is there is over an hour of free music to download (not free to copy however). Quite a lot of work goes into writing, recording, producing and making them available. It is not a great thing to ask that no copies be made. When someone receives an illegal copy, they are in effect being told; “it is OK to copy this material”. Even when copies are not of bad quality they invariable do not credit the author or show his contact details and therefore recipients cannot obtain legal copies, and so they too copy and give away, and on it goes. Meanwhile the songwriter who wrote them and went to the trouble of making them available gets no reward! Is that fair? Back To Top

Q. Why Do You Have Two Websites?

A. Since I started putting the Tapes/CDs on the web, I’ve found it hard to find hosting (that’s the service offered by those who store your website files on their ‘server’ computers so other people on the net can browse them) that is always up and running. More often than I would like, you could type in the website address only to get a white page saying it’s not available. So I paid for another site and took the opportunity also to use another name. Since both sites contain exactly the same information, now when I find that one site is ‘down’ I use the redirection services of www.BibleSongs.co.uk to point the user to a site that is working. When I find a hosting service that is reliable I will no doubt end up sticking to one service. A. I am happy to visit others and share my songs with them when invited. In fact my children's songs are at their best when sung at gatherings with children and adults participating. Naturally, like all of Jehovah's people today, I lead a busy life so it often depends on time, travel. But it is always a joy to meet brothers in different parts. Q. Are you interested in promoting other songs & Poems?

A. For two reasons I'm afraid the answer must be no, sorry. For one thing I'm far too busy and even correspondence over other peoples material can be time consuming apart from production etc. Also just staying with my own material keeps life simpler regarding copyright and contracts etc. There are sites that other brothers run though that may be of help - I think there are some links on www.theoshare.com Back To Top

Q. Do you have any Kingdom Melodies or Public Talks to distribute?

A. No, I only provide productions of my own music. As to public talks; my site is not for dissemination of doctrine, rather, on my web site, I direct interested ones to the proper source for this; that is the Bible itself and the official website of Jehovah’s Witnesses at www.Watchtower.org.

Q. I didn't get a reply when I queried before - why?

A. Your mail server may be rejecting or junking my response.
